If you’re planning to remain in the desert this summer, you’ll be happy to know that quality entertainment will be very much alive all summer long at CVRep. We will continue entertaining Coachella Valley residents and visitors each and every week this summer with an extraordinary line-up of live entertainment including: three solo-performance plays, a series of three dynamic cabaret performances, a jazz series presented in association with Bill Saitta, a return performance from tango dance artists, Galvan and Herrera, and a classical music series.

SOLO-PERFORMANCE PLAY SERIES
Actor John Posey performs FATHER, SON and HOLY COACH
Friday and Saturday, June 9 and 10 (7 PM) and Sunday, June 11 (2 PM)Tickets: $30 Created by and starring John Posey, this solo piece tells the story of a man living vicariously through his son and navigating the waters of a small southern town devoted to football. In this one-person comedy, Mr. Posey portrays all of the colorful characters in this hysterical, yet poignant study of the fragile psyche of an overprotective father.
Actress Kres Mersky performs THE LIFE AND TIMES OF A. EINSTEIN
Friday and Saturday, July 21 and 22 (7 PM) and Sunday, July 23 (2 PM) Tickets: $30
Written and performed by Kres Mersky and directed by Paul Gersten, this one-woman play covers a day in the life of Albert Einstein as seen through the eyes of his secretary.
Actress Linda Purl performs THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING
Friday and Saturday, August 11 and 12 (7 PM) and Sunday, August 13 (2 PM) Tickets: $30
Based on Joan Didion’s 2005 book, this one-woman play about survival and victory recounts two emotionally charged years in the author’s life. The play deals with the death of others as well as the death of cycles and seasons in our lives; a play with love and healing and wisdom.

With musical direction by Shelly Markham,singer-actor Perry Ojedaperforms the music of Betty Comden and Adolph Green, the composer and lyricist of such great Broadway musicals as: Bells are Ringing, Subways are For Sleeping, On the Town, Fade Out, Fade, In, On the Twentieth Century, Do Re Mi, Will Rogers Follies, and Wonderful Town. Perry Ojeda co-starred as Gabey in the 1998 Broadway Revival of On The Town.
LESLIE TINNARO SINGS THE SONGS OF LERNER AND LOEWE

Singer-actress, Leslie Tinnaro performs a musical tribute to two of Broadway’s greatest musical collaborators, Alan Jay Lerner (lyricist/Librettist) and Frederick Loewe (music), the dynamic duo primarily known for writing the music and lyrics of some of Broadways most successful musicals including My Fair Lady, Camelot, Brigadoon, and Gigi.
ROBERT YACKO “A LIFE ON THE STAGE, IN STORY AND SONG”

Singer, Actor, Robert Yacko has been enjoying a long and robust career on the musical and non- musical stage for decades. Mr. Yacko will celebrate the music of several different composers and lyricists as he recounts his own career and experiences in the theatre.

David Garfield’s mission statement is “I make music.” Be it jazz, rock, funk, or world beat – he is a world-renowned keyboard artist, producer, composer, and the creative force behind the production of many internationally acclaimed recordings.

A vibrant all-star quintet. African spiritual, modern Jazz, Afro Cuban and a touch of Greece.Inspired by jazz of both northern and southern Europe, African, and other contemporary styles of music, Singularity enlists an impressive variety of poly-rhythms and harmonies while remaining lyrical, punchy and obsessively in the groove
CLASSICAL MUSIC SERIES
WILLIAM DAVIDSON – Wednesday, June 21 (7 PM) Tickets: $25
William Davidson was a semi-finalist in the 2017 Waring International Piano Competition. Davidson is often praised for his sensitivity of touch and virtuosity as both a classical and jazz pianist.
THE NOBLE TRIO- Tuesday, July 25 (7 PM)Tickets: $25
Michael Noble has developed an international reputation as an astonishing pianist. A prizewinner of numerous competitions, including the Grand Prize at the Carmel Music Society Competition, Gold Medal at the Crescendo Music Awards (Tulsa, OK), and laureate of the Chopin International Competition of the 1000 Islands, Mr. Noble will be joined by Greg Perrin (Viola) and Teresa Villalobos (Flute) for this debut concert.
