H. CHRIS BROWN (Dr. Bessie Delany) Chris Brown is thrilled to be making her debut here at CVRep. She is a seasoned actress born in Toledo, Ohio, and came to Southern California via Cleveland Ohio. Chris has appeared in numerous productions, including Vagina Monologues, I’m Not Rapport, The Mikado, Steal Away, For Colored Girls, How Katrina Plays by Judi Ann Mason, and August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come & Gone. She has appeared in commercials and film, and is a published author of a collection of original poetry entitled Colorful Concerns (available for sale in the lobby.)
REGINA RANDOLPH (Miss Sadie Delany) A native of Chicago, Regina grew up wanting to perform. She has studied all aspects of acting including Comedy with Second City. Her theatre experience includes lead roles in Medea, Romeo and Juliet, Miss Julie, the critic acclaimed NAACP winner, Up The Mountain, Five on the Black Hand Side, Private Battle, First Breeze of Summer, and most recently Tiger, Tiger Burning Bright, Fabulation and To Kill a Mockingbird. Television credits include ER, Born Free, Cousin Skeeter, Kenan & Kel, Grubbs, The Shield and Everybody Hates Chris. Regina is also a professional vocalist, whose style ranges from Gershwin to Sarah Vaughan.
