Book by Steven Levenson
Music and Lyrics by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul
December 3-21, 2025
Directed by Adam Karsten**
Music Direction by Stephen Hulsey
Join us for the Regional Premiere of this incredible show. Winner of six Tony Awards (including Best Musical), the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, and an Olivier Award for Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen will take you on a deeply personal and tremendously moving journey about life and the way we all choose to live it. With a book by Tony Award-winner Steven Levenson (Fosse/Verdon), and a score by Grammy, Tony and Academy Award winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dogfight, La La Land, The Greatest Showman), this is a contemporary musical that you will experience in a new and intimate way at CVRep.
Has there ever been a time when you felt invisible? All his life, Evan Hansen has. But when a tragic event shocks the community and thrusts him into the center of a rapidly evolving controversy, Evan is given the chance of a lifetime: to be somebody else. Don’t miss: “One of the most remarkable shows in musical theater history.”– The Washington Post
