ONE MAN TWO GUVNORS

By Richard Bean
Based on The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni
with songs by Grant Olding
Additional songs by Ned Douglas and Deven Green

Based on the classic Italian comedy The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni, this Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics prizewinning play by Richard Bean, with songs and music by Grant Olding, comes to CVRep!  Comedy is at an all-time high; not to mention sex, food and money are also high on the agenda.

One Man Two Guvnors follows Francis Henshall after he is ‘sacked’ from his skiffle band and becomes minder to Roscoe Crabbe, a small time East End hood. Chaos ensues when Francis spots the chance of an extra meal ticket and takes a second job with one Stanley Stubbers, who is hiding from the police and waiting to be reunited with his girlfriend. To prevent discovery, Francis must keep his two guvnors apart. A walk in the park, right? Come find out just how difficult Francis’s journey will be.
