SINGING FOR ACTORS with Mark Almy is a six week course that helps actors develop vocal technique and effective communication through song. Students build range, strength, flexibility, clarity of tone, and ease of production. Attention is also given to delivery of repertoire, with an emphasis on healthy vocalism, appropriate style, and awakening the artistic imagination.
Mark Almy is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and has sung over 100 roles in opera and music theater, including Don Giovanni, Figaro, Rigoletto, Sweeney Todd, Javert, King Arthur, and Don Quixote.
Singing For Actors meets on Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00 pm for 6 weeks.
