When the brilliant but socially awkward Max starts tutoring popular student Sara in chemistry, an unlikely friendship begins. When cruel rumors about Max start circulating online, Max takes drastic measures to put an end to the attacks on his character. A tragicomedy about the consequences of cyber-bullying.

Then Conservatory at CVRep announces auditions for HENRY’S LAW.
The Conservatory of Coachella Valley Repertory Theater (CVRep) is seeking actors for their upcoming production HENRY’S LAW by Stacie Lents. Seeking High School/Middle School aged actors for the following roles:
MAX– Max is a brilliant, socially awkward and somewhat geeky high school senior who tutors a popular girl, Sara, in chemistry.
ANNIE – Annie is fifteen-year-old freshmen. She is Max’s sister. She craves to is desperate to be popular and is embarrassed by her geeky brother.
SARA – Sara is a poplar senior at school. She is a flirty girl. She is being tutored by Max and falls for him.
JASON – Jason Swarthmore, 17–18 years old Jason is an intense guy. He is dating Sara. He manipulates Sara, emotionally.
Auditions will be held on AUGUST 31, 4-6:30PM at CVRep.

It has always been a priority of CVRep to present an annual production for Coachella Valley students that is culturally and socially relevant in today’s complicated world. Over the past ten years we have performed for more than 15,000 students, free of charge, to experience live theatre, some for the first time. CVRep not only provides the performance to the children for free, but will also pay for the buses to bring the school students to the theatre.
At the end of each performance, a Q&A is conducted, where the audience could discuss what they experienced as well as ask questions. This process opens up a dialogue to continue a conversation long after leaving the theatre.
