MIRACLE OF MIRACLES is an evening that pays tribute to the Jewish legacy in the American Musical Theatre, focusing on heritage, history and Jewish traditions. It is a poignant evening that is both vocally thrilling and emotionally effective. The program includes songs from the Gershwins, Irving Berlin, Jule Styne, Leonard Bernstein, Jerry Herman, and Dorothy Fields; along with contemporary selections from composers Charles Strouse, Alan Menken, and Andrew Lloyd Webber. As the show unfolds, marvelous historical tidbits and stories are showcased along with their respective composers & lyricists and their incredible contributions to Jewish Culture. And, of course, a gorgeous medley from Fiddler On The Roof is featured, along with selections from Bock & Harnick’s other Jewish masterwork The Rothschilds.
On Broadway, Danny Gurwin has co-starred in Little Women, Urinetown, The Full Monty, The Scarlet Pimpernel, A Little Night Music (NYCO), Kismet (Encores!) and Grinch. In the Coachella Valley, Danny has been a part of the One Night Only benefit for three years and starred at Cabaret 88 at the Annenberg.
