BOX OFFICE AGENT

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: 
The Box Office Agent is an outgoing Team Member who actively engages with callers. This position will acquire a working knowledge of patron ticketing, seating and overall theatre operations. As the first contact for many of our patrons, the Box Office Agent is a collaborator, who enjoys working in a team environment, exchanging information and sharing responsibility for CVRep’s overall success.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage CVRep production, performance or special event ticketing

• Using PatronManager, fully understand and execute the ticketing strategy for single productions, performances or special events

2. Assist in executing season subscriptions

• Assist patrons in purchasing season tickets, and making exchanges upon request
• In coordination with the Managing Director, participate in a call campaign to renew and retain previous season subscribers

3. Distribute accurate reporting and information

• Provide house count to the House Manager for each performance. Prepare report of each show’s guest list for House Manager and other Team Members as needed

4. Manage ticket requests for reviewers and other complimentary ticket requests and notify key CVRep Team Members of the guests’ arrival.
5. As requested, support volunteers, ushers and Team Members to understand how to assist patrons with paperless ticketing.
6. In the rare instance a patron cannot download or self-print a ticket, print and mail tickets in advance of the performance to patron’s residence.
7. Work in other areas, departments or special projects as assigned

SCHEDULE:

This is a part-time, seasonal position (20 – 30 hours / week). The hours are varied depending on production and performance schedule.
