William Fair is thrilled to be making his first appearance on the CVRep stage in Later Life. As an actor, he has appeared on stage, screen and television, most recently on the boards playing John Barrymore’s ghost in I Hate Hamlet at the MTA. Other recent work includes roles in Death Trap, Lillian Hellman’s, Watch on the Rhine, King Henry in The Lion In Winter, as well as playing Andrew Ladd in another A.R. Gurney play, Love Letters. William also works the other side of the lights as a writer, director, producer and was one of the original founders of the Mountain Shakespeare Festival and the Mountain Theater Alliance, both small acting companies in the mountain community, north of Los Angeles.
Barbara Niles is thrilled to be working at CVRep. Originally from NYC, where she spent most of her professional life (over 100 plays and musicals), she came to LA for a quick stay, fell madly in love and stayed. On Broadway, she re-created the role of Mary Magdalene in the first revival of Jesus Christ Superstar, starred in Hal David’s and Michel Legrand’s first B’way show together –Brainchild, and was lucky enough to standby for the amazing Millicent Martin in Noel, opposite Jeremy Brett (Sherlock Holmes). She also learned to speak Yiddish phonetically to play a role on B’way in Oy Mama Am I in Love. National tours, Off-Bway and regional credits include Oklahoma (Ado Annie), Grown Ups, Amanda in Private Lives. Godspell, Berlin to Broadway, Tintypes (she played the Emma Goldman role and got to roller-skate across the stage while playing the violin and singing.) Feiffer’s People, Oh Coward, and Molly in The Unsinkable Molly Brown. In L.A. she has continued to do theatre: Broads at the El Portal Theatre, Labor Pains, The Actors Nightmare, Bend in the Road at the Pasadena Playhouse,to name a few and most recently, Fiddler on the Roof at the Norris playing Golde. She performs with Sound of Musical, a musical theatre a cappella group. Barbara was lucky enough to do one of the first readings of Luke Yankee’s play The Last Lifeboat. Barbara is also a VO artist, teaches VO technique, and directs and is the VO booth director for McCarrell & Associates.
Teri Bibb is happy to be making her debut at CVRep. Her Broadway credits include over 1,000 performances as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, including the National Tour, earning a Helen Hayes Award nomination and a Carbonell Award. Also on Broadway, Teri played Amalia in She Loves Me (standby). Regional credits include the world premiere of Songs from the Tall Grass (Mother) at the Ford’s Theatre in Washington D.C., Ellen Terry in Children of the Night (Ovation nom.) at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and two seasons as Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol at the Rubicon Theatre. Teri has been a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall, London’s Royal Albert Hall, Belfast’s Odyssey Arena and Radio City Music Hall (duets with José Carreras), and has sung with orchestras across the U.S. She has guest starred on TV, been a supporting player on film, and has sung on several film scores, including Ice Age and Polar Express. She was also a guest soloist on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and is currently playing theatres across the country with her new solo concert, Once Upon a Song. www.TeriBibb.com
