CONCHITA BELISLE NEWMAN Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Conchita attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts and then went on to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory. Favorite shows include: Big Fish (Sandra), Side Show (Violet), Into the Woods, Annie and Fiddler on the Roof. Conchita is also a member of the Academy Repertory Company at New Musicals Inc. as well as a member of their 4×10 ensemble. In addition to performing, Conchita is an accomplished exotic animal trainer having worked with lions and tigers and bears (oh my), among other exciting animals including dolphins and sea lions. Conchita is also a proud co-owner of JTN Music, an Emmy award winning post production music editorial company. In her spare time, she enjoys flying trapeze, playing with her alpacas and chickens on her “mini-farm” in Shadow Hills, CA and being mom to her two beautiful children Paige and Alexavier.
CHRISTOPHER CAROTHERS, has toured the United States and Canada in the Broadway Tours of Les Misérables, Grease! Phantom, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and Jesus Christ Superstar. Local theater credits include starring roles in the West Coast premieres of Howard Crabtree’s When Pigs Fly, Five Course Love, and Stephen Schwartz’s Children of Eden, as well as the U.S. premiere of Stephen Sondheim’s Opening Doors. He’s also starred in such favorites as Evita, White Christmas, The Music Man, My Fair Lady, Cabaret, and many others. He’s performed numerous corporate and cabaret shows throughout greater Southern California, has circled the globe twice as a star entertainer for the super-luxury Royal Viking and Radisson cruise lines, and worked in Las Vegas as a lead singer in the venerable Jubilee at Bally’s Hotel. Film credits include Ratboy, Alone With a Stranger, The Dead, and Mythic Journeys. You might have seen him on T.V. as a mad Christmas caroler for Hyundai Motors or a mad scientist on Sy-Fy’s Scare Tactics.
