“After founding Coachella Valley Repertory 13 years ago, the end of this season will be a curtain call for Founding Artistic Director Ron Celona. Celona informed the board of his retirement on Dec. 12. The theater’s Board of Directors President Mike Monachino said in a statement the board members and stakeholders will search for the next artistic director “who will have every bit as much passion, vision and experience as Ron has brought to the founding and growth of CVRep.”
