Best known for her role as lovable Mrs. Edna Garrett on the TV series Diff’rent Strokes and The Facts of Life, actress, singer Charlotte Rae will share many fascinating tales and behind the scenes stories about her diverse career and personal life.
From Car 54 Where Are You?, Molly the Mail Carrier on Sesame Street, numerous Broadway plays and musicals, including Lil’ Abner, Threepenny Opera, her Tony nominated performances in Pickwick and Morning, Noon and Night, to her recent role opposite Meryl Streep in Ricki and the Flash, Charlotte Rae has entertained the public for several decades.
In addition to revealing hilarious tales about her career and long time friends and colleagues Paul Lynde, Patricia Neal, Cloris Leachman, Rock Hudson, Angela Landsbury, Robert Redford, Jean Stapelteon, Martin Sheen and Woody Allen, Ms. Rae will discuss details from her new book, The Facts of My Life.
